Heyyyy y'all. So, I have to fill you in on some fab info: I had the chance just a few weeks back to attend Amerigo Nashville's Farm Dinner Series -- and it was AMAZING. Five courses (!) served with wine and drink pairings (!!), in Amerigo's private dining room. Each month, Chef Steven visits the Farmer's Market to source the freshest veggies, fruits, meats and cheeses for the series, creating a unique menu highlighting fresh flavors of the season. I love a good, hearty Italian meal, and this was one of the best I've ever had in Nashville.

Carrots, roasted peppers, arugula, parmesan // paired with cucumber mule

Pasta e Fagioli
Navy, kidney, and great northern beans, pasta, tomato, chicken stock, and focaccia croutons // paired with Suavia Soave Classico

Rigatoni Bolognese 

Housemade pasta, pork and beef bolognese, grilled bread, Romano cheese // paired with Saddlebred Pinot Noir

Farrato, kale, mint demi glace // paired with Hahn Cabernet Sauvignon 

Peanut Butter and Banana Pie

Vanilla pudding, graham crackers, and whipped cream // paired with Lamberti Sparkling Rosé

I'm SO excited to give away two tickets to see one of my favorite musicals, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, opening night next Tuesday, February 17 - 7:30 PM at TPAC. 

The national tour of Joseph, directed and choreographed by Tony Award-winner Andy Blankenbuehler, retells the Biblical story of Joseph, his eleven brothers, and the coat of many colors and will play Tennessee Performing Arts Center’s Andrew Jackson Hall for a limited, one-week engagement February 17-22, 2015.

Broadway and television star Diana DeGarmo (Narrator) and Broadway star Ace Young (Joseph) head up the cast, which also features Paul Castree as Simeon, William Thomas Evans as Jacob/Potiphar, Brian Golub as Reuben, Max Kumangai as Judah, and Ryan Williams as Pharaoh.
