Bachelorette Weekend in Nashville

Planning to spending your Bachelorette Weekend in Nashville and need some ideas? I've got you covered with a touristy trek through town celebrating a last bit of 'freedom' before your lifetime of being a M-R-S.

Where to Stay:

You'll want to be near downtown so you can walk around on Broadway - so check out the gorgeous Omni or the newly-renovated Renaissance hotels, both of which offer prime locale. Another great resource to consider, especially for groups, is Airbnb - my new preferred method of travel. There are a ton of listings in Nashville. Be sure to book your space or hotel room sooner than later because there is always something going on in town, and space books up fast.

Now, let's get to the real fun.

Night #1: Go to dinner, Go out on Broadway!

Start your bachelorette weekend in Nashville with a night out on the rooftop of either Rock Bottom Brewery or Acme. Acme is a fabulous new and unique venue but both offer a killer view of downtown Nashville. For dinner there are a few options: You could eat at Rock Bottom or at Acme, or you could make a reservation at Merchants, Farmhouse, or Etch  (my favorite) - all within walking distance from the downtown action.

Going out: It's a must to visit all the touristy spots on Broadway: Hit up the rooftop at Tootsies, then go listen to live music on one of the three floors at Honky Tonk Central. Big Bang is our resident piano bar (which always involves bachelorettes on stage), and be sure to get a drink at Tequila Cowboy and ride the bull. Ya'll need to understand it doesn't get any more faux-pas than this.

Paradise Park, our very own indoor trailer resort, is the perfect way to begin wrapping up your night and offers late night grilled cheese to soak up that booze. End your evening with a short walk up to Ms. Kellis Karaoke Bar in Printer's Alley so you and your girls can belt out your grand finale, which undoubtedly includes a fabulous rendition of 'Shoop'.

Day #2: The Party Continues.

Time to head to Midtown! Much less touristy than downtown and a more young 'professional'-type crowd. Broadway Brewhouse, Red Door, and Winners/Losers are all fun bars to hang at; head to Blue Bar for a good dance sesh. Another option is to head to the Demonbreun bars just down the street. South is a great locale to start, and next door Tin Roof always has live music and good bar food if you need a mid-afternoon snack.

For dinner, check out the Gulch - halfway between Downtown and Midtown. Saint Anejo is fun, offers a trendy atmosphere and fantastic patio with more upscale inspired Mexican cuisine. You can't beat the food and the vibe next door at either Moto (Italian) and Virago (Sushi), both great spots for a nice dinner out and pretty people watching. Reservations recommended at all of the above.

Day #3: Recovery.

You're tired, hungry, and need a carb-laden brunch. Check out The Southern or Kitchen Notes in the Omni downtown. Perks: The Southern has amazing Chicken and Waffles and cheap-ish Mimosas. Kitchen Notes has a biscuit bar. Yes, you read that correctly. Reservations recommended at both.
