American Idol Auditions are coming to Nashville this Wednesday!

Ok, so, I've been an American Idol fan since the beginning. Some of my favorite artists happen to include the fabulous Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood. I mean.. It's no big deal but, I clearly remember crying with them as they took home their respective crowns, and, I may or may or may still tear up a bit whilst listening to A Moment Like This and Inside Your Heaven. No judgement.

Anyway, the excitement continues as AI Season '14 kicks off and Music City is going to be play big part in it. Auditions will be held here in Nashville on Wednesday, July 30-- and here are all the pertinent deets, should you have what it takes to be the next American Idol.

Nashville AMERICAN IDOL® XIV Audition Information 

WHO: Men and women 15-28 years old as of June 1, 2014, who are eligible to work in the U.S. Some restrictions apply – please read the Live Audition Info for specific information. 

WHEN: Wednesday, July 30 (there will not be a separate registration day) 

WHERE: Nashville Municipal Auditorium, 417 4th Ave. N, Nashville, TN 37201 

HOW: Wristbands will be distributed beginning at approximately 7:00 AM on Wednesday, July 30. Auditioners will not be permitted to camp out and may not line up before 6 AM. Soon after they receive their wristbands, they will be told to enter the arena.

ALSO, Idol is starting something new this year: The True Believer Program, for those of us who may not have what it takes, but recognizes one of our friends who does. Encouraging them to try out could score you 50 grand.

What you need to know:

American Idol will give the opportunity for each contestant to designate their TRUE BELIEVER who will have the opportunity to walk away with $50K at the end of the season should their contestant win.
